windless blue sky;
no edges
I inhabit
the eyes of a caged lioness.
never the warm blood of a young calf
maddening her palate
never a living thing choking, suffocating, begging
for an escape
under her soft, velvety paw.
at the edge of your blind fingers
a useless window.
