Intre 1750 si 1757 scrie “Discursul”, “Al doilea Discurs” , “La Nouvelle Heloïse”, “Emil”, “Contractul social” si “Scrisori catre d’Alembert”. Inca de la aparitie, cartile sunt confiscate sau interzise de catre autoritatile Republicii Geneva sau cele franceze. Drept urmare, in 1763 renunta la cetatenia geneveza si dupa ce urmeaza un periplu pentru a-si pierde urma, se casatoreste cu fosta sa guvernanta, Thérèse Le Vasseur cu care avusese 5 copii, toti parasiti in camine pentru copii. Redacteaza “Confesiunile”, “Dialogurile” si “Reveriile”. La 28 iulie 1778 moare la Ermenonville si in 1794 Conventia Revolutionara Franceza transfera ramasitele pamantesti ale ilustrului filosof in Panteonul francez.

S-a nascut intr-un sat numit Luminita, comuna Topolog, in judetul Tulcea. Dupa liceu a venit la Bucuresti si patru ani consecutiv a dat examen la teatru. Intr-un final a reusit, a absolvit in iulie 2000, dar vroia sa renunte, deoarece, credea atunci, "daca nu stii pe nimeni nu prea ai sanse....". A vrut sa mearga la Tulcea sa lucreze in asigurari. Primise o invitatie de la Cairo pentru festivalul de teatru din septembrie si a vrut sa mearga, totusi, sa joace spectacolul, sa nu incurce echipa. Si, s-a intors plin de glorie: a primit "Premiul pentru cel mai bun Actor". La intoarcerea in Romania, a primit un rol intr-un nou spectacol la Teatrul de Comedie, apoi la Nottara. A intrat si la televiziune, s-a angajat la UNATC (fostul IATC). Din 2004 pana in 2006 a jucat la Teatrul Foarte Mic. din Bucuresti.
