Louis Joseph Vance was born on September 19, 1879 in New York, New York (although some sources say Washington, DC). He was an American fiction writer of short stories, novels and screenplays. Vance was the son of Wilson and Lillie Beall Vance. Originally, Vance wanted to become an artist and illustrator and attended the Art Students League and Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute. Vance married Nance Elizabeth Hodges in 1898. They had one son, Wilson Beall Vance who was born the following year. Vance was 26 years old when his first book,Terence O\'Rourke,Gentlema Adventurer was published in 1905. Vance was a \"hack\" writer for many years producing hundreds of short stories and some adventure novels until he published a group of three mystery novels which promoted him to best-selling author status. There have been no line-up changes since the band was established in 1993. There is no other band that sounds remotely like Rammstein. André du Bouchet, né à Paris le 7 mai 1924 et mort le 19 avril 2001 à Truinas (Drôme), est un poète français. André du Bouchet passe son enfance en France jusqu’à la débâcle de 1940 qui le jette sur les routes, avec le dictionnaire Bailly de grec sous le bras. Sa famille s’exile aux États-Unis où il passe son adolescence, et mène ses études à l’université d’Harvard, devenant même professeur d’anglais. André du Bouchet revient en France à la fin des années 1940, et commence à écrire des critiques sur Victor Hugo, Baudelaire ou Shakespeare. Né le 29 mars à Montréal en 1933, Jacques Brault est poète, romancier et essayiste. Il a été professeur à l'Université de Montréal de 1960 à 1996, d'abord en Études médiévales puis en Études françaises. De 1970 à 1995, il a participé à de nombreuses émissions littéraires, à la chaîne FM de Radio-Canada et sur les ondes de la Communauté radiophonique de langue française. Brault décède le 19 octobre 2022 à l’âge de 89 ans à l’hôpital BMP de Cowansville et ses obsèques auront lieu le 4 novembre 2022 au Complexe funéraire Brome-Missisquoi à Cowansville au même endroit où son épouse Madeleine Breton (1928-2014) l’avait devancé le 18 mars 2014.
