Look! Today I am writing you again
for I think you will spend your time
reading these lines that will shine.
I believe doing so is not a crime.
All I can offer you is plain words
drawn from the ocean of longing
where nothing but love and songs
melting in the great joy of thinking.
Every time I put my words on paper
I already imagine your lips moving
between the lines without temper
because you are always loving.
Look! My mind has borne words
and stanzas to make you happy.
They are just words, not swords.
You may save them in a floppy.
