In a nail I hooked
a leg put on in a dirty boot
in front face I hung the mouth -
balance with a grin in a corner
and a sneer in the other one
a hand clenched by a verse
as by a lightning
I hooked it near by
an eye bearing your image in its sight
I have hanged over the head
that as a ball stays in a wall
please do not touch the exhibits
… other than a few nails
I hanged
the soul
the only
thread I used it for
after I wasted myself
a nail has remained
in it I put my hope
