in that voice
which ordered water
to turn into wine,
and stone into bread.
You have believed
in the light given back to the one without sight,
in the revival of the dead you have believed...
You have understood
and venerated the holy miracle
by its poetry,
by its truth and its love.
You have always believed
in what it\'s hard to believe,
you have always hoped in
what is hard to hope,
you have always loved
what was almost impossible to love.
Oh, your soul confident
in the force and immortality of thought,
of poetry, of love and hope !
