Mother, please, don’t go!
Look through the window as the apricot trees bloom!
Let me have the joy to be a child
And please delay your departure.
My head is full of questions
And I await the answers ...
Don’t tell me, mother, that you’re leaving,
Please delay your parting.
Look through the window as the apricot trees bloom!
And my mother opened her tired eyes,
Watching through the window as the apricot trees bloomed,
she whispered:
Just so you know, my daughter,
When you will have all the answers,
No one, not one person, will ask you the questions.
