SILENCE OF THE SWAN
And then silence came along
And painted a gracious white swan
On the glass of every mirror.
Red pieces were spread in the air,
Floating inside a faint cry of bitterness…
Wide open eyes
Shining in all their amber beauty
Reflected their unimaginably
Pure expression
In the clearness of the
Lake of diamonds and mirrors.
Drops of blood and dew
Ran down pale cheeks
And fell into the golden cup
Of bluish waves
On which a gracious white swan
Had found eternal slumber.
