On my heart
You wrote today
With black letters
The decision made...
My heavy tears fall upon them
The black letters of my heart,
All our love and faith just
Made us fall apart like two strangers,
Strangers to eachother,
Strangers to ourselves.
The black letters are like thornes
Crushed into my mind,
But though it hurts so bad
The blood doesn’t weep out
To stain my memories,
To stain my thoughts.
You’re leaving without looking behind,
You don’t have the courage to read them,
The black letters that cry upon my heart,
They cry so hard they shutter my soul away,
Like a tear in the wind,
Like a thought in a poem.
I’m all alone now, left with no hope,
Only the black letters tipped in my mind remained,
They stay because they belong to me,
They belong to my heart,
My mind is theirs,
Their meaning is mine.
