Why longing’s closer than joy is,
you’re questioning your soul,
why dusk is nearer than light,
why life’s more distant than is dream,
silence more truthful than words are?
Your soul is wondering why wings
are growing secretly
and why the all absorbing heights
incessantly are turning round
Keep whirling
and you’ll never cease to soar.
