We meet in silenced tones, in whisper’s beatings,
Between the sixty seconds of a theft
We wrap around fragility’s core, keeping
Abruptness and abyssal our cleft
We clench the fists of time in mimic gestures,
Freezing each hour in the glass of naught
We circumstantially drink foreign waters,
Acidic cicatrices never sought
