Away I have been…
I have been away from your arms for so long
I grew a hunchback embracing myself…
Fingernails heavy with lead, swallowed tongue,
Calcification of knees, all on shelf.
I have been away from your path…
Now my soles prop on thorns made of steel…
Broken slivers host channels of wrath,
Tissues softened by throbbing will heal?
I have been away from your whisp’er…
Ears laden with shrieking and coo,
Leftover lobes carry crisp’er
Blisters, cascading of goo.
I have been away…
