Cinderella lost her shoe
Somebody must have thrown it away
There’s nothing more we can do
Should we hope and pray?
Cinderella starts to wonder
What’s wrong with her fairytale?
She was ready to be happy
Instead she just turned pale
There’s still no prince in sight
Something isn’t right..
She’ll turn off the light
She can’t give up the fight..
The night covers her soul
Her hope is dying out
She can’t even shout
She should have had it all
But instead
She’s just cold
She must be dreaming now
She might be happy anyway
She’ll have to brake her vow
Throw the other shoe away..
