lLife Life is a mystery. You are born, get the chance to live and after many years of experiences, you get to the point when you pass through a coloured tunnel of hopes. You are in an astonishing sphere and receive another opportunity to get back into the world you got used to. The moment your eyes see the glow of life sparkling like an angel from above, you start a journey that has and always will have a “conclusion”. But let’s not think about the finish line, there is plenty of time until you come to cross it. Every day of your existence will be spent among people with different masks and individualities. You are going to learn and teach what your eyes and soul have “captured” along the years. Your mind will create a world of drawers to keep in hidden folders with every personal thought, action and emotion. Unwillingly, these treasures shall not be given away; although time will come when the release of your heart and mind is going to depend on how much you are prepared to share. I am going to give you a hint. You are just an innocent soul and there have passed exactly twenty minutes from the moment your mother gave you life. Are you ready? Delightful smiles can be seen on your parents’ faces, but your eyes cannot perceive that yet. Do not worry; you have many hours, minutes and seconds to understand the concept of happiness. Does it make you thrilled knowing that your mind is going to transform this unfamiliar feeling into an obvious fact?... Ohhh, of course not. You are just a baby. How could you comprehend what I am trying to underline? That little heart of yours is pumping and waiting and waiting and waiting. I know what is going to happen, so get ready because you have a long road ahead of you, assuming you will take the right one. Because if not, then you will have to choose many times the precise path that you consider the best to take you nearer and nearer to the road of fulfilled dreams. Three days have passed and your parents’ eyes are filled with delight. They are waiting for you to be brought into their tender arms while love is filling the atmosphere in the most magical way possible. Hands holding each other, a man’s eyes get a glimpse of someone who is soon to be the happiest woman on Earth. And… there is you, “wearing” a pure look in those blue eyes and inside, a personality that waits to develop. What you must feel if not realize over the years is that you will never stop growing on the outside, but especially on the inside. Due to this development everyone is predisposed to, you are to become a person that I, myself, admire even at this point when you are just a baby. Why? You might be asking. The answer will reveal itself, just wait and see. So, there you are, tightly hold near your mother’s chest. Can you notice the sound of her heart, beating faster and faster? “Love”. Yes, it is love, a feeling that cannot be described. It is so tender and enchanting that sometimes you will be overwhelmed by the power that it radiates. Love has its own time, its own season, and its own reasons for coming and going. You cannot bribe it, force it or reason it into staying. You can only embrace it when it arrives and give it away when it comes to you. Do not be concerned about when you are going to meet face to face with this emotion, you will, eventually, but first grow and conceive what is around you. I know you are eager to identify everything, more or less, but you have to be patient. This will save your life many times. Do not rush into something before knowing what it is “made of”, think twice and balance the consequences that might follow. Wherever you are and whatever you do, please smile, be optimistic and think clear. “Build” strong walls against people who just want to darken your thoughts. What you have to keep in mind is that the world is not a safe place to live in. Every human has different concepts, beliefs, thus you should take into account that only some have excellent “lessons” to share, and the rest are just miming them. Those from whom you are not to learn any important aspects of life are the ones who need your help. As small as you might be, you can be a teacher. Tell them about love and patience, for these make the world go round. You will get your chance to realize there are many important things that are the results of understanding these first concepts… The day comes to an end. The month goes by as fast as a thunder and you see yourself in a mirror. Can you acknowledge who you are? You are the result of an intense love between two people whom you shall call “mother” and “father” for the rest of your existence. You cannot do that now, but there is still time. Do not worry! You have given them a hope for a better future, more joy than they could have ever imagined. You are a blessing, so please remember that every right thing that you do is going to bring more “singing” into their hearts. You will not want to lose that, so appreciate them for who they are and try to learn as much as possible from those individuals. If there should be a time when you feel the need to be consoled by someone, appeal to those whom you consider your friends. Who are they? You might ask. Keep in mind that life is a continuous search. Among the ones who surround you, there are some who will do anything for you. They will cure your crying heart, try to give you pieces of advice, be with you whenever you are alone or need comforting and never let you go. That is what you will need to focus on: keep your friends close. They are the most precious jewels a person can recognize. Time passes as quick as the speed of light when you are a baby with no awareness of what is going on around you. Your parents are still amazed of how small you are. But you have grown and as the days pass your character is starting to take shape: playful, lively and charming. You are free to choose your next action, because as an infant, your upcoming “teachers” shall protect you from anything that might be harmful. You are safe! Remember that as a human being you have the right to do what you know is right; express your opinion and judge people by your own values. The man’s rights will write themselves in your mind on a “piece of fresh paper”. Then your conscience will carefully put it away, so that it will be able to come in handy whenever needed. Therefore, do not discriminate people, you all have the same rights. Believe in truth and justice and never allow them to break free from your mind. Whenever you are in a situation when a person has made a mistake, however big or small, analyse the circumstances and try to give a mere temporary “sentence”. Wrong decisions do not show who an individual really is. A human being is not perfect. Just learn from mistakes as these are too, universal teachers. Can you see what is going on? You are smiling and by doing this you have enlightened people’s eyes. “Who..?” Who are they? Friends... This very moment your parents are to become best pals with some magnificent persons who have achieved a lot in life. They did not waste time and by believing in their own strengths, they have succeeded in reaching every aim proposed. You are to do that. But first, understand that you must have faith. Your wishes will be reflected in your imaginings. These are the ones that you shall transform into a reality, a truth that shall not be undermined unless you permit it. Believe that everything can be possible, however do not remain in that world of ideas. Put them into practice and you will be victorious. Oh… I admire you! The baby anyone can see by looking at you will turn out to be a wonderful person. You can do it from the beginning. Do not dissipate time. It is a priceless thread of infinite possibilities… though, for every individual, it has a closure. The environment you fashion out of your thoughts, beliefs, ideals, and your philosophy is the only climate you will ever live in. The key is not in spending time, but in investing it. Understand and conceive that you have a purpose. The ideals that are to enlighten your way and give you courage to face life cheerfully will be Kindness, Beauty and Truth. Try not to become a person of success, but one of value every moment. Now, my darling, I have been your guardian angel. I have taught you what I know about this world; you must continue on your own. At present, you are eight months old; my voice is fading away while your first words are breaking to the surface. I am to be a mere memory, a spirit you will slightly remember to have heard, but never be sure of it. Still, there is something I would like your mind to hear: I already admire you!..
