As frozen as goodbye

Believe my heart when I say this out loud

My life is only a gigantic blue cloud

Sometimes it’s dark, rarely light

Struggling, I’m in a continuous fight

A few thoughts promised to let go

And slowly let my personality grow

But every time I’m breathing, for real

Thunders appear and whisper what to feel

Is there something I haven’t tried?

Lost my invisible soul, already cried

I look inside, the light is blurry

Colours fade away in a big hurry

I still have left deep within

A place where I have never been

It waits for rays to get inside

And a pure heart in which to confide

“Nobody deserves my tears”

This is what slowly appears

“The ones who do won’t make me cry”

…A young friend’s caring reply

I don’t react, my mouth is frozen

This action has long been chosen

I see a broken tree in my mind

And quickly wish I were blind

Stealing a minute from the moon

Begin to cry, it won’t end soon

And you wonder why or do not care?

I think it’s an answer I cannot bear

Just… goodbye…
