Honestly speaking
As much as I try to forget
The heart refuses to let go
Thoughts permanently flood my mind.
Although, hope has ran away
It made its present clear
For more than it should have
A part of me
Kept whispering: “Give up!”
I wouldn’t
And now, what can I do?
A force, don’t know from where
Reveals
My tear, sigh, trembling
Taken over
And they frighten me
Again and again
No one hears my cry
At the surface
Face clear, smile present
Inside… different.
Have you ever seen someone,
Cry, just within?
If you don’t know
Let me say
You have
Every time I’m near
Every time you’re not
And still
The silence
Lies heavily on my chest
Cannot breathe
Frozen words
I’m stuck here
With my own shadow
Please understand
It’s just me
Can’t stop
I’m sorry…
