Falling asleep

A part of the sky was very far away

And all of a sudden it disappeared…today

I have taken off. My fear is one with the past

It is easier for me. That emotion has passed

I tried to guide my very own soul

But I lost the last drop of control

Went another way I had expected

The moment we became connected

Look in the mirror and what do I see?

Myself and behind an old tree

Leans backward, leaves on the ground

There is a spot of green and nothing around

Now I remember how I tried to defend

My heart, sincere, I would not pretend

Still… fading away, gone with the sea

I’m sorry I couldn’t take that precious key

For it was guarded by three wasps and one bee
