Dying story

Something happened too late than it should have.
Maybe it’s fair, maybe it’s just as it should be.
Someone’s making a move, but I don’t wanna see,
I don’t wanna hear, nor think nor shorten the distance.
I’ll keep them away cause it hurts too much
And the more I break the more I feel the rust.
A beautiful rose turned lifelessly black,
From time to time it would arise…
But not from now on and I swear,
Cross my heart and hope to die
If I ever wear that smile again;
The one that always fades away.
I swear now and again and again!
I’m falling and I’m falling badly.
I’ll either turn to dust or become its queen,
A frozen stone in a broken world
Where no one gives you the right to be,
The right to feel or touch or smile.
It hurts to breathe, wounds don’t heal,
A child is aching, this story seems too unreal.
I am not insane, I wish I were,
But I think that someone’s playing a game,
I’m the main character,
I was changed,
I was given trials and I have failed.
The performer got bored of its game
And left me thirsty for days in a row…
The heart degrading, head in the clouds
And I’m left alone in this unfinished project
That dares to let me die.
