I believe in

I believe in... My body, mind and soul truly believe in the sweet path that friendship unveils as I walk through the maze of moments. So far, life has proven that I am much more capable of flying through clouds, dark or light, if glitters sparkle beside, offering warmth and protection. Those sparkles, as I like to call them, are my friends, the only ones who know the song inside my heart and sing it to me when my memory fails. It was 11 years ago, in the 1st grade, when I met my other end of the line, but grew side by side only after some while. After reaching another phase of our lives, something made me realize there was more out there. And I was right. I’ll never forget the moment when I first met the third companion who always pushed me to go on when I was too weak. We were in a little room with our English teacher and other colleagues from school to prepare for the Olympiad. She asked grammar question and we, as students, answered. My beloved friend was floating on air for she would make simple mistakes and I, from behind, would softly whisper the right answer to my desk mate. Time made it all possible, tying our hearts together with an invisible string. Right now I consider myself as being luckier than many people I know. Why? Because I’m surrounded by two individuals who complete a perfect triangle that we have formed along the years. We’ve come to the point when nothing is impossible as long as we are together. It’s a sensation I cannot describe that sometimes puts us face to face with the feeling that laughter, joy, life crossed our path and seem to never go away. Each one of us gives her colourful wings to the other when the atmosphere gets filled with grey spots. Besides that, an embrace is always present, the heart filled with understanding, affection, caring and the mind continuously seeking the right words. And if that doesn’t bring back a smile then we just sit together, hear the sound of silence and listen to the wind as our eyes never stop speaking. I believe in my friends because they have enlightened my life, shared thoughts, listened and encouraged. When I look into their eyes I can see their souls and their mirror makes me love them so much. Every time I hold them I begin to understand over and over again, that everything about them tells me they are my best friends. What else can I ask for?
