Indifference

Sometimes...it hurts the most! It hurts even more than infidelity, more than a conflict between two individuals involved in some kind of a relationship, not only a love related one. To receive indifference while you let the other know you care can cause a shock, a state of confusion which leaves scars on the soul. Or you might just as well not get over it. Certain people are indifferent because that is how they desire to be. Others are so without realising it. And some...out of pure commonness, because it saves them from suffering and potential issues. When it comes to me... others’ unconcern hurt me a lot. It left a scar that has not healed to the present day. It’s just concealed.
