Working as a student When is it appropriate for a person to start working? Some begin this “journey” after finishing their studies, but others do not hesitate to accept a job while being students. This action has many effects on an individual’s mental evolution, fact which can be observed on the outside through that person’s behaviour. Firstly, having a job means facing a lot of responsibilities. On one hand, you have to be careful not to arrive late at work or else the probability of getting fired might become a fact. Along with this, you must rise to your boss’s expectations and maintain or improve your services. All these “teach” your mind what responsibility means and, as you are in a permanent development, change your perspective on life in general. Secondly, it is am excellent way of becoming more independent. The administration of the money you earn is a significant factor which leads to an obvious evolution. That moment you perceive their value in this world and, as a student, if you come to depend on them, you are to be more aware of their importance. This can be considered a life lesson due to the fact that it prepares you for the years that are to come after finishing a certain university. However, the decision that implies “growing-up” earlier can have negative effects on your existence as an active under graduated. Stress and tiredness are the main factors that lead to a lack of concentration when studying. Moreover, the incapability to pay attention in classes, due to your demanding job, is another disturbing consequence. Still, if you have the ability to balance things, then you might succeed in only benefiting from the fact of having a job. Thus, you become more mature and ready for life’s real challenges that you will have to face. As a conclusion, it can be said that starting to work can certainly enlarge students\' perception on the world. It can bring along good and bad effects as well, but if dealt with. This decision brings along several bad effects on the individual, but if dealt with, the only things that remain are essential lessons of life.
