A small circle of friends is better than one best friend What are friends? They are angels sent from high above to heal our souls and feed our minds with delight and happiness. Had it not been for them, we would not have gathered strength to continue this constant”battle” of life. They give us hope and support whenever needed and try to never let us down. Although throughout our life we encounter many people with different personalities, only some are to become more than just strangers. They are the ones who due to their character and way of comprehending the world around them make us desire their presence. Together we laugh and benefit from every single moment while our mentality perceives the similarities between us and absorbs warm drops of pleasure. This gives us a more contented attitude and it draws us from our daily problems. However, every time we feel the need to share our deepest feelings, there is just one person that can truly understand us and to whom we can freely open our hearts. That individual is our best friend who offers more support than the rest of the world. Demoralizing situations somewhat impel us to continue searching until the person, for whom we could give our life, is right in front of us. Even though there is only one person who completely understands us, the rest are just as important, for they make our world spin lighter. Being part of a small circle of friends also helps us integrate in the society due to the shared activities that we participate at. Moreover, when it comes to discussing about a certain subject, we can be witnesses to different opinions and thus becoming more open-minded, fact which cannot be applied when just our best friend is present.. On the whole, even if that perfect companion can be of much assistance when it comes to keeping deep thoughts and emotions, a circle of “associates” has a bigger impact on our social existence. They unlock doors to evolve generally, whereas their friendship “teaches” our mind to see above the horizon.
