Many things they taught in classes,

Even more they whipped our asses,

What we learned was in the alleys

That life has mountains and valleys

We forgot to ask our questions,

We forgot to build our bastions,

We came out to fight our battles

But were driven more like cattle

Now we know what is a river,

Now we know why people shiver,

But we still cannot deliver

What is happiness

People wait for an anointed

While they let themselves exploited

Never finding, disappointed,

What is happiness

What they should teach now in classes

To empower all the masses

Is that life is to be cherished

And you fight for it till perished

Work makes you spring into action,

Love will give you satisfaction,

Treat yourself and others fair

And the crops of life you share

Build up friendships, conquer reason,

Chase out evil, laugh a season,

Be together, find your vision,

That is happiness
