Mother,
Where has gone your heart
Father,
Where has gone your faith
If you do not believe
In the flesh of your love
In whom would you believe?
In what you will be told
Or in what your fear will impose you
When I would not be with you anymore
Where will go what I taught you
Each day we spent together
Father, mother,
Why are putting me to the test
The proofs of my innocence are so far away
As you forgot the pictures of my early childhood
At the end of my patience,
When life’s evils strike you
I do not blame you
I love you; it is my way to bear it
And my way to forgive you.
