A sea of tenderness

Lost in your charms

All sign of bitterness fades away

Time and time again disappointed by the laws of Love,

Voices echo within me

In order to remind me of the memories

I take away with me

When I pass by the doors

Of the future to end it all

With the past and the failures of all those years

And waste them into your waters

I become the lotus

That dries away your tears

Amidst the pool in which you are bemoaning

In the loneliness that is part of your habits

Like love when it makes its great coming back

The day of the Valentines when everyone becomes a Saint

When everyone tells his own smooth talk

Holding flowers, the flame puts out the fire

Of what were the greatest days

Now that the charms have no effect anymore, you are fleeing away

You prefer that I astonish you

Spontaneous and sincere words, not premeditated or motivated by self interest

Just a thought coming from the bottom of the heart

Nature comes back into fashion and ad-lib comes back at top speed

To give Love the place it deserves, is it the way to be a romantic isn’t it?

So let Don Juan, in the memories of your drawers

Where he rests in peace

And with the old ready made recipes

Which are only successes for mirrors

But outside it is another matter

Let yourself go into the sea of tenderness.
