I woke this morning
and the snow was falling;
spinning, swirling.
Like my mind.
It’s in turmoil
because of how badly I
want you to know how much
I want you…
But I’m afraid of failure.
What if you don’t like me the
same way?
Will we still be friends?
Can we still hang out?
Or will it all end?
Snowflakes touching ground.
