Enemies
On The Graveyard

According to the old song
it all went down like this:
Two men lived
in the same village.
Neither one was absolutely sure
what their quarrel really was about,
it\'s roots hidden
in the mist of antagonism between families.
This last year they had both lost
their last remaining parent:
One his mother
the other his father.
On Christmas Day they arrived
at the churchyard to light a candle
- unseen by each other;
until that very moment
when they both looked up
into each others eyes.
Thus the spark of forgiveness was kindled.
