on the turf
it all came together.

Angle
A perfect serve
from the wing.
The ball seemed to fall forever
\'gainst that shiny bald head.
With every muscle
in his body tensed
the attacker made a nod
like a whiplash
into that exact space
between the poles.
Unreachable.
It took a while
before the world
started turning.
