for the first time
and after months
i’m drinking for your honour/lonely
finally i’m cross with the moon
i had drawn the curtains tightly
not to spoil
insisting saucy
in between the tulle’s
from now on relax
tomorrow is your celebration
finally i’m cross with the moon
without leaving any crumbs behind
collected your silver
and threw it to the back yard
finally i’m cross with the moon
i had understood it was impossible
tonight i’ve closed that book.
