so i stepped outside for a moment
it took some effort getting here
something within was not responding
all pointed somewhere else. back.
and then it hit me
i was laying down on the concrete
the music started to play loud
silence was pierced. again.
time came to leave
just like the last time
i wasn't sure so i lingered on
and silenced burst. broken.
i stare at the person before my eyes. unknown.
familiar faces seem fewer and further apart
this century is a repeat
we are being lead astray
