Ghostly Ghastly Islands

Islands inhabited by no one
but the Shadows of Scanners
hidden under the Caves of Millions
of years of battles in unknown zones
for the right to hold and bear the Banners
to exorcise the unbearable oblivion.
That is the illogical reason
why you can feel these Shadows
even though there seem to be nobody there,
standing on the Beach of Treason
roaming in the Endless Meadows
´Til they reach the Heavens, where no one dares…
