A Soldier

I\'ve built a man but he\'s so weak,

It took him years to prevail,

And yet the future still looks bleak,

I\'m so worried that he\'ll fail.

He nedeed strength and so much more,

Things to worship and be sure of,

Never thought he would abhor

Signs of trust and signs of love.

His life is an ugly battle

With himself and his nightmares,

Hiding under a mantle

Stops the blood pouring in snares.

Cause a trap is his whole world,

A fight with endless black armies,

I gave him a heart but no sword

...And his foes are his buddies.
