And the walls were closing in,
Taking me there, deep within,
I was screaming
“Help me now!”
Hope You’ll be there
By my side
So You’ll take me
Through the night!
Save me now
Take me there
In your arms
Carry me through…
(I know You can…)
Hide me under Your wings
Take me home safe
In your arms
Carry me through
(The darkness has fallen…)
The rose fades
As the nightingale sings
(Her song…)
In your arms
Carry me through…
(The fields start to cry…)
She gave the star away
And came forward the sun
(She was right…)
In Your arms
Carry me through…
(The darkness is gone…)
And we could fly away
And touch the rainbow
Although it is far away
I know I can touch it!
(I know I can…)
There was a time when
nothing happened…
And we stood there
As we were rocks
I know we felt like
As we were falling…
But although we tried
We stood there alone
Alone in our hearts
Alone in our minds
Alone in our soul
So we could go apart
We could not erase
The feelings we had
Although we tried
We could not compare
What we have had
Was so far away
But He was there for me
(He was there for me…)
He helped me through the night
He took away my cross…
