I said
god
what’s with my fingerprints
sweating tenderness
on the edge of the senses?
cause you see: somehow,
there’s no one in sight
and not many tears are to dry.
but then it all
just flew
through my fingers
and I dared to raise my eyes and point them
at someone else’s skin;
I said god:
do you enjoy the feast
of my falling?
but He just sketched a smile on my inner nakedness,
while showing me the way
to the love that awaits…
