Reason to worry ?

Almost had a car accident the other day (22.04.2012)... twice even. My problem is not the existence of wreckless drivers and driving even if that really should be my issue... My concern is that seeing both cars coming my way, I couldn't move out the way but only stood there "analysing" the situation. Normal people run away from dangerous moments like this, but all I did was ... NOTHING but stand still! What is wrong with me? I'm wondering if they actually came my way, "would I stay or would I go" / jump ? Should I worry? because at the moment I truly am concerned ...
