I-am zâmbit ca un înger
cu ultima sa suflare
Prăbușindu-se din cer
purtând moartea pe aripile sale,
Fredonând același cântec vechi
de pe crucea de odinioară
cu aceeași rană din pântec
Sângerând
aproape sunete de vioară.
