Darkening sky, earth in shadow
Diminish the exposing light.
It is a sense that all is right
But I cannot stop my fear.
Purity new absolves in cycle
Stands witness to rebirth.
I cannot stop my fear
Of what may come.
Rain ignites sensual delights,
Naked flesh throbs in the heat,
But they weaken my heart
And I hurt in pain.
