...the enemy is our intimate; to defeat him we must think like him, live like him, breathe like him. Now if you\'re in a difficult situation, at an impossible pass, numerically disadvantaged, with inexperienced troops, the enemy will think, quite legitimately, that you are prey to anxiety. He will imagine you are in despair over the obstacles and, perhaps without wanting to, will end up feeling overconfident. At that moment, if you are able not to let yourself intimidated, if you preserve your inner calm, before you have even made a single move with your troops, you will already have an advantage.
The secret weapon is equilibrium.

familiar with storms, unruffled by archers;
an exile on land among jeering crowds,
he has a giant\'s wings, and cannot walk.
