Armando Uribe Arce
Armando Uribe Arce nació el 28 de octubre de 1933 en Santiago de Chile. Cursó sus estudios primarios y secundarios en el Colegio Saint George. Posteriormente estudió en la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de Chile, recibiendo su título de abogado en 1959. Se desempeñó como profesor de derecho minero en su Facultad, por más de 30 años. En 1957 contrajo matrimonio con Cecilia Echeverría Eguiguren. Uribe ha ejercido diversas cátedras de derecho en la Universidad de Chile, Universidad Católica de Chile, Universidad Estatal de Míchigan, Università degli Studi di Sassari, en Italia y París I Panthéon-Sorbonne en Francia. Ha publicado numerosas obras de política, ficción, religión, Derecho Penal y de Minería, y es miembro de número de la Academia Chilena de la Lengua y Académico Correspondiente de la Real Academia Española.
