Suzanne Vega was born July 11, 1959, in Santa Monica, CA; her parents divorced shortly thereafter, and after her mother (a jazz guitarist) remarried to Puerto Rican novelist Ed Vega, the family moved to Manhattan. A shy and quiet child, Suzanne nonetheless learned to take care of herself growing up in the tough neighborhoods of Spanish Harlem. Her parents often sang folk songs around the house, and when she began playing the guitar at age 11, she found herself attracted to the poetry of singer/songwriter music (Dylan, Cohen), and found a refuge from New York\'s chaos in traditional folk (Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Judy Collins, Joan Baez). At age 14, she made her first attempts at writing songs; however, when she attended the High School for the Performing Arts as a teenager, it was to study dance, not music. Nathaniel Tarn (born 1928) is an American poet of Anglo French origin. Nathaniel Tarn was born in 1928 in Paris of a British father and a French mother with many links to the U.S.: the American side of the family were the Shuberts of Broadway (though he never met them). Tarn was brought up in France and Belgium and reached England a week before World War Two. A fost al cincilea din cei șase copii ai lui Patrick and Maria Branwell Brontë. Tatăl era profesor, ca ulterior să devină ministru. În afară de câțiva ani nefericiți petrecuți într-o școală religioasă, descriși mai târziu în romanul ei, cea mai mare parte a studiilor le-a efectuat alături de tatăl ei. Ca și surorile ei, a trăit o viață izolată. A murit la 30 de ani de tuberculoză. Opere În 1847 publică singurul ei roman "La răscruce de vânturi", tradus în limba română de Henriette Yvonne Stahl. Ben Doyle
Ben Doyle was born in Warsaw, New York, in 1973. He completed his undergraduate education at the State University of New York at Oswego and West Virginia University. His first collection of poetry, Radio, Radio, (Louisiana State University Press, 2001) was selected by Susan Howe for the 2000 Walt Whitman Award. He received his MFA from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, where he was awarded a Teaching-Writing Fellowship. His poems have appeared in Colorado Review and Fence. He currently lives in Iowa City.

Vor langer Zeit bin ich in Caransebes geboren. Als Jugendliche habe ich cenaclu literar in caransebes besucht. Die Menschen dort (u.a. Sorin Solaris Olariu) haben mein Leben verändert. 1998-2000- Studium der Jurnalistik an der UNI West in Temeschburg. Ich lebe seit Juni 2000 in Deutschland. 2001 bis 2005 habe ich an der Georg-Simon-Ohm Fachhochschule Diplom Sozialpädagogik studiert. 2005-2006 habe ich als educational technician in einer amerikanischer Kaserne gearbeitet. Seit 2006 arbeite ich als Diplom-Sozialpädagogin (FH) in einer Seniorenresidenz. Cu mult timp in urma m-am nascut in Caransebes. Cenaclul literar la care am mers in liceu si oamenii de la care am invatat sa scriu (printre care Sorin Solaris Olariu)mi-au schimbat viata. Dupa 2 ani de studiu de jurnalistica in timisoara, plecata in germania, unde a urmat studiu de pedagogie sociala. In prezent lucrez ca pedagog social intr-o resedinta de seniori.
