Raymond Queneau, né au Havre (Seine-Inférieure, aujourd’hui Seine-Maritime) le 21 février 1903 et mort à Paris le 25 octobre 1976, est un romancier, poète, dramaturge et mathématicien français, cofondateur du groupe littéraire Oulipo. Biographie Raymond Queneau a grandi dans une famille de commerçants. Il monte à Paris pour faire des études de philosophie à la Sorbonne et à l\'Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes où il suit notamment les cours d’Alexandre Kojève sur Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel. Il fréquente le groupe surréaliste auquel il adhère en 1924. À la suite de son exclusion en 1930, il participe au pamphlet Un cadavre contre André Breton avec un texte intitulé « Dédé ». Raymond Queneau a relaté de façon satirique son expérience du surréalisme dans Odile, où Breton apparaît sous les traits du personnage d’Anglarès. Georges Limbour (1900-1970) est un écrivain et poète français, régent d\'Ocupodonomie poétique et polaire du Collège de ’Pataphysique. Georges Limbour, né à Courbevoie le 11 août 1900, fait ses études au Havre où s\'est trouvé muté son père, militaire, et dont est originaire sa mère. Il s\'y lie à Jean Dubuffet, Armand Salacrou, Pierre Bost, Raymond Queneau et Jean Piel. Il demeurera marqué par la fascination de la mer. Limbour commence à écrire en 1915. Raymond Carver
The American short story writer and poet Raymond Carver was born in Clatskanie, Oregon, on May 25, 1938, and lived in Port Angeles, Washington during his last ten, sober years until his death from cancer on August 2, 1988. He was a Guggenheim Fellow in 1979 and was twice awarded grants from the National Endowment for the Arts. In 1983 Carver received the prestigious Mildred and Harold Strauss Living Award which gave him $35,000 per year tax free and required that he give up any employment other than writing, and in 1985 Poetry magazine\'s Levinson Prize. In 1988 he was elected to the American Academy and Institute of Arts and Letters and was awarded an honorary Doctorate of Letters from the University of Hartford. Raymond Radiguet (18 juin 1903 à Saint-Maur - 12 décembre 1923 à Paris) est un écrivain français. Ainé de sept enfants, il est le fils du dessinateur Maurice Radiguet (1866-1941). Sa mère est Jeanne Marie Louise Tournier (1884-1958). Après l\'école communale, il passe l’examen des bourses et entre au lycée Charlemagne à Paris. Considéré comme un élève médiocre, il s’adonne entièrement à la lecture : les écrivains des XVIIe et XVIIIe siècles, notamment La Princesse de Clèves de Mme de Lafayette, puis Stendhal, Proust, et enfin les poètes : Verlaine, Mallarmé, Arthur Rimbaud, Lautréamont. Colin Forbes was the principal pseudonym of British novelist Raymond Harold Sawkins (born in Hampstead, London on 14 July 1923, died on 23 August 2006). Sawkins wrote over 40 books, mostly as Colin Forbes. He was most famous for his long-running series of thriller novels in which the principal character is Tweed, Deputy Director of the Secret Intelligence Service. Sawkins attended The Lower School of John Lyon in Harrow, London. At the age of 16 he started work as a sub-editor with a magazine and book publishing company. Louis Dudek, OC (February 6, 1918 – March 23, 2001) was a Canadian poet and literary critic and publisher of Polish origin. He is known for his writing, his role in defining Modernism in poetry, and his literary criticism. He was the author of over two dozen books of poetry, criticism, and other topics. He supported and initially published many poets, including other now-established writers including Daryl Hyne and Ken Norris. Born in Montreal, Quebec to a Catholic family which had emigrated from Poland, Dudek received a BA from McGill University in 1939.
