Wendy Cope is an award-winning contemporary English poet. She was educated at Farringtons School and read history at St Hilda\'s College, Oxford. She now lives in Winchester with the poet Lachlan Mackinnon. Following her graduation from St Hilda\'s College, Cope spent fifteen years as a primary-school teacher. In 1981 she became Arts and Reviews editor for the Inner London Education Authority magazine- Contact. Five years later she became a freelance writer and was a television critic for The Spectator magazine until 1990. Three books of her poetry have been published (Making Cocoa for Kingsley Amis in 1986, Serious Concerns in 1992 and If I Don\'t Know in 2001), and she has edited several anthologies of comic verse. In 1998 she was voted the listeners\' choice in a BBC Radio 4 poll to succeed Ted Hughes as Poet Laureate. She was a judge of the 2007 Man Booker prize.

I've been born on June 11, 1959 in Bucharest. I graduated in 1978 chemistry high school from Bucharest, called Costin D. Nenitescu. In 1988 I graduated the Techincal University of Bucharest, Metallurgy - Forging & Heat Treatments. In 1995 I've reconsidered my career plans and headed to IT&C. In 1997 I graduated my first master in Computers- Databases. In 2007, I finished the second master in Computers & IT. Otherwise? I like writing. I'm doing that since I was 10, and I just couldn't get rid of this "habit". I haven't published anything until august 2006, and I decided to start on the Internet. As for the others, I'm a common person, with my "lows" and "hights", like anyone else... I've published my first book, in Romanian, "Inner Rhythms" in april 2007. I'm also writing and publishing on several sites and blogs. Hmmz...Sunt aceasi fata care am fost ieri si voi fi maine..Sunt o persoana ce isi omoara timpul visand la o lume mai buna . Si acum sa termin cu filozofiile . Sunt o fire vesela imi plac povestile cu happy end. Poate sunt cateodata prea pesimista , dar prefer sa cred ca sunt realista. Ma fascineaza istoria.. desenul si tot ce tine de domeniul acesta.Incerc sa ma adaptez unei societati ce incearca sa excluda romantismul si frumusetea dintre calitati...etc etc etc...si foarte multe prostii si aberatii de ale mele :)
