JHJames Leigh Hunt
James Leigh Hunt was born on 19th October, 1784 in Southgate, Middlesex. His father, a clergyman, got into financial difficulties and ended up in a debtor's prison. As a young man, Hunt developed an interest in politics and poetry. Leigh Hunt became friends with other young writers who favoured political reform including Percy Bysshe Shelley, William Hazlitt, Henry Brougham, Lord Byron,Thomas Barnes and Charles Lamb. As well as writing poetry and articles on politics, Leigh Hunt worked as a drama critic for the News. In 1808 Leigh Hunt helped his brother, John Hunt, to start a political journal called the Examiner. The journal gave support to radicals in Parliament such as Henry Brougham and Sir Francis Burdett and the political ideas of people like Robert Owen and Jeremy Bentham. Engleză José Asunción Silva (November 27, 1865 in Bogotá – May 23, 1896 in Bogotá) was a Colombian poet. He is considered one of the founders of Spanish-American Modernism. Born into a wealthy and cultured Bogotá family, Silva led a carefree life, traveling to England, Switzerland, and France in his early adulthood. However, with the death of his father and the increasing financial struggles his family experienced thereafter, Silva was forced to return to Colombia. Joseph Delteil, né à Villar-en-Val (Aude), le 20 avril 1894 et mort le 16 avril 1978 à La Tuilerie de Massane (Hérault), est un écrivain et poète français. Né dans la ferme de La Pradeille, d’un père bûcheron-charbonnier et d’une mère illettrée, Joseph Delteil vit les quatre premières années de son enfance à la Borie (construction de pierres sèches) de Guillaman, à 30 kilomètres au sud de Carcassonne, dans le Val de Dagne. De cette masure, il ne reste aujourd’hui que des moignons de murs, que l'on peut toujours voir en randonnant sur le "sentier en poésie" créé par Magalie Arnaud et ses amis, maire de Villar-en-Val pour honorer la mémoire du poète. En 1898, son père achète une parcelle de vignes à Pieusse (30 kilomètres plus loin). C’est là, dira Delteil, son "village natal", au cœur des Corbières, "où le paysage s’élargit, où l’on passe de la forêt au soleil, de l’occitan au français". Il y demeure jusqu’à son certificat d’étude (1907), puis il intégre l’école Saint-Louis à Limoux....
