Se naste in satul Olteni, jud. Teleorman. Dupa absolvirea cursurilor primare si gimnaziale in Olteni, Valeriu Anghel urmeaza Scoala Medie Mixta de 10 ani din Rosiorii-de-Vede. Isi intrerupe studiile timp de cinci ani lucrand ca profesor suplinitor la diferite scoli, sef de birou, metodist. Debuteaza cu poezie in revista Luceafarul in august 1960; in acelasi an intra prin concurs la Facultatea de Limba si Literatura Romana din cadrul Universitatii din Bucuresti pe care o absolva in 1965. Dupa absolvire intra in invatamant si se stabileste in judetul Vrancea; este profesor la Scoala din Negrilesti si la Tulnici. In anii '90 desfasoara o intensa activitate publicistica (Tribuna invatamantului, Milcovul, Informatia, Saeculum s.a.). Incepand din anul 2000 cunoaste o adevarata "explozie editoriala" si este director al editurii Pallas. FAFlorentina Anghel
M-am nascut in anul 1960, in aprilie, o luna plina de flori, miresme si promisiuni. Am urmat cursurile Liceului de Muzica nr.1 (clasele a IX-a si a X-a) si, pentru ca liceul s-a desfiintat in anul 1977, am continuat cursurile la Liceul C.A. Rosetti. Am absolvit Facultatea de Filosofie (specializare Sociologie) in 1983 si Facultatea de Drept (in 1992). Pana in 1989 am fost profesor in Cernavoda, invatatoare (prin forta imprejurarilor, demisionasem din postul in care primisem repartitie guvernamentala) si profesor in gimnaziu, undeva in Pipera. In 1990 am dat concurs si am ajuns la lucrez (sociolog si apoi cercetator) la Institutul de Stiinte ale Educatiei din Bucuresti. Aici am avut sansa sa imi propuna coordonarea tezei de doctorat directorul acestei institutii, un om remarcabil si am obtinut doctoratul in anul 2002. Am lucrat la institut, am lucrat pentru o institutie care gestioneaza fonduri europene (din 1996 pana in acest an).

Nãscut pe data de 20-10-1985 în Deva, un an mai târziu întreaga familie s-a mutat în Curtea de Argeș. Ĭn prezent student la Sociologie și la Asistențã Socialã în București. Ĭn timpul liceului a beneficiat de 3 burse de studii înafarã pe o perioadã de șase luni în Franța, Italia și Spania. Redactor-șef timp de doi ani la revista liceului (clasele a 11 a și a 12 a). Domenii de interes: Manifestã un interes constant pentru problemele generale ale umanitãții, în special cele legate de antropologie culturalã, politici sociale, etnologie, simbolisticã, psihologie socialã etc.
