A most astonishing thing -
Seventy years have I lives;
(Hurrah for the flowers of Spring,
fro Spring is here again.)
Seventy years have I lived
no regged beggar-man,
seventy years have I lived,
Seventy years man and boy,
and never have I danced for joy.
Una cosa stupefacente -
vivo da settantanni;
(Gioisco per i fiori di primavera,
per la primavera che è di nuovo qui.)
Vivo da settantanni,
