more than ten goats
two donkeys
seven children and a woman
lived in a clay hut
with small loopholes in the walls
through which
half a year the indian monsoon passed
cooling the floss bedding
the woman’s back
straight
a punishment to matriarchal races
on sokotra isle
in his simplicity
he counted the dimples in her hips
but didn’t embrace the sin
committed in silence
with half of his manhood
in the morning he took
the rest
to the hillock
next to the bean field
flew the kite of prayers
allah listened to him
and solved his daily quota of problems
so everything he had learned at the frunze academy
could go to hell
