dirty coat...

shot me right in the heart

..this hunter of broken dreams

he took it all and left me kneeling..

stained..filled with holes..

his frozen touch steals pieces of my memories

the nightmares settled..now they are real

forgotten what it felt like to weep

when his face burnt all the hidden tears

the present is my haunting ghost..

the future is my enemy

all that\'s left for me to hang on to..

is the past with it\'s sweet jealousy

..your icy look forces me to bow deep

shivering..an attempt to reach

my heart needs the moonlight.. fair,shining

in my mind darkness rules above the idiot inside me

thought this was the end..but your vengeance hasn\'t even started

this unrealistic bond between the smothered and the hungry

why did i think that we could love..when everything leads to hurting?

looking through a glass..this is the way i see myself..

in your eyes my image is vague..a disguise..

this attempt to fool myself..believing that you never could have harmed..

even my shadow fears..of the army that\'s being raised to fight

never would have sold my soul...if you hadn\'t crossed my way

now the devil keeps it safe...mocking..at the sight of me in disgrace

you only see the emptiness that reigns within.

the unlocked door is easier to open without a key..
