Chase sorrow
Let your soul rejoice
as when in love,
its first love – generous,
serene, and all embracing,
the love that neither spurns nor censures,
when you did not refrain your soul,
when you would not find fault,
judge others by yourself,
vibrating with emotion yet serene,
feeling you were a stream of light
as you have always been,
a chalice out of which
the thirsty ones
could take a sip of love
Stay as long as you can
in that privilrged state –
that morning of your soul.
