Thin as a thread’s
the passage between worlds
One moment melts into another,
the past and present interweave
fragments of thought –
which life do they belong to? –
make the worlds mix
so you know not
wherefrom is sadness
wherefrom joy
which now and then have hold on you
Let yourself go with time
do not oppose
its ephemeral course
renewal comes after decay
decay, renewal interlace
Follow the wave
go up the crest
then fall into the foam
find consolation
in its embrace.
