Only the sunrays know
whether it’s light or darkness that prevails
within yourself
as both find room in each one’s heart
Eagle of light with feathers black
entering by the window of your soul
watches your waking hours sway –
yearning and languidness
continually blur your inner self
Arrowhead pointing to the sky,
you live and die by turns,
Your body resting on the ancient moth
of mother Earth
Parting with time, you greet the Sun
awaken that you are.
